01 Dec Giving Tuesday Inspiration: Heartwarming Volunteer Experiences
On Giving Tuesday, many people around the world are going to come together and give back. It is a wonderful celebration of generosity and kindness. Whether giving back in your local community or at a nonprofit overseas, every act of kindness counts and can be life changing.
This time last year, Give a Day Global partnered with Strategic Solutions Partners (SSP) – a taskforce solutions provider and consulting firm for the hotel industry – to give the opportunity to SSP contractors to embark on a volunteer mission through a program called Giving Time. Since then, SSP volunteers have built homes for families in need in Guatemala and helped in the conservation of sea turtles in Costa Rica.
Not only did the SSP volunteers make a lasting impact in the lives of the families and wildlife that they assisted, they themselves made unforgettable connections to the global community and environment.
